What to Expect Each Night

5:45–6:00 PM — Check-in & Drop-off

6:00–6:45 PM — Large Group (worship, games, skit, Bible message)

6:45–7:45 PM — Rotations (games, Bible story time, craft + snack)

7:45–8:00 PM — Closing Large Group (recap + worship)

8:00 PM — Pick-up

From arts and crafts to games and music, our VBS is packed with exciting activities that reinforce the day's lesson. Kids will have a blast while learning important biblical principles.


Music & Worship

Sing, dance, and worship with us! Our VBS includes lively music sessions where kids can express their faith through song and movement. It's a joyful celebration that brings everyone together.

Frequently Asked Questions

  • Who can attend VBS?

    Our VBS is open to children in Preschool–5th Grade.


    Children must be potty trained to attend.

  • Can my child attend if we don’t attend Walnut Grove Church?

    Absolutely! We’d love to welcome your family.

  • Is there a cost to attend?

    VBS is free of charge. Donations are welcome to support our programs.

  • How will the kids be grouped?

    Kids will be placed in age-appropriate groups led by caring adult leaders & teen helpers:


    • Preschool & Kindergarten
    • 1st–3rd Grade (Group 1)
    • 1st–3rd Grade (Group 2)
    • 4th–5th Grade

  • What can you tell me about check-In & safety?

    Your child’s safety matters to us!


    • Please begin check in for your child at 5:45 PM so we can start our program at 6 PM
    • Secure check-in and pick-up procedures in the church sanctuary each night of VBS will be emailed to you after our registration deadline of June 1st.
    • Adult leaders and teen helpers will be serving in groups
    • Please list allergies when registering for allergy-aware snack planning
    • All of our volunteers must go through our training and all adults 18+ must have state-required clearance and background checks turned into our Family Pastor.
    • If you have any questions before registering, we’d love to help.
  • What should my child wear?

    Comfortable clothes and shoes for active games.



  • Can I stay on campus during VBS?

    Yes, if you need to. However, we ask that you wait in your car or outside.


    For your child’s safety, we require everyone working with the children at VBS to have state-required clearance and background checks and to go through our family ministry training at Walnut Grove.

  • How can I help out?

    VBS runs best with a strong team of adults and teens. If you’d like to help for one or more nights, you may use this same registration link to register as a volunteer.


    All of our volunteers must go through our training and all adults 18+ must have state-required clearance and background checks turned into our Family Pastor.


  • Is your church accessible?

    We have made sure that our building is accessible for people of differing abilities. All areas being used for VBS will be on the ground level.
