Visit ACTS youth
ACTS youth group meets on Wednesdays at 7pm for worship, fellowship, & fun. We discuss relevant topics about life & faith, engage in meaningful discussions, & laugh over games & activities that build community. We would love to see you there!
Throughout the year we offer retreats & trips, outreaches, conferences, fun outings & hangouts, as well as compete in fine arts competitions.
SUNDAYS @ 10 AM
On Sundays, the youth join service together with the adults from 10-11:30am.
Afterward, enjoy coffee, hot chocolate, donuts & snacks while hanging with your friends.
Gym is open after service for sports & fun too!
WEDNESDAYS @ 7 PM
WEDNESDAY NIGHTS ARE THE BEST!
We meet from 7-8:15pm
Come early to hang out in the gym, play gaga ball or just catch up with your friends.
ACTS youth meets in their own module behind the main building. Our very own “ACTS Worship” team will lead us in a couple songs, followed by a discussion style teaching.
We’ve got board games, cards games, Nintendo Switch games, arcade style basketball, chess... you name it, we probably have it!

Extracurriculars
TEEN BIBLE QUIZ
Bible Quiz® is a discipleship ministry geared for teens in sixth through 12th grade. Several times during the year students attend meets within their district in order to test their ability to memorize and understand God's Word.
District and Regional meets take place in the Spring of each year with the top teams advancing to Nationals. Each year thousands of dollars in scholarships are awarded to students for their hard work.
We will be competing at the XP5 level which is the most beginner friendly level. This year we will quiz on different portions of the Prison Epistles written by Paul.
Cost:
- Scripture & study materials: $15/person
- Team Registration: $80/per team (to be split by all team members)
Schedule:
- Practices: Tuesday evenings from 6-7:30pm.
- Quizzing Meets: There will be 4 Bible Quiz Meets and a Network Finals, held on Saturdays.

FINE ARTS
DESIGNED TO HELP STUDENTS DISCOVER & DEVELOP THEIR MINISTRY GIFTS
Fine Arts is a ministry aimed to help teens discover, develop, and deploy their gifts and talents to reach people for Christ and inspire their faith. With over 70 categories, there’s something for every student, from the digitally-inclined to the dancer, the painter, the poet, and aspiring preacher. Through Fine Arts, students learn that ministry is a lifestyle, not just an “activity” to be attended.
District Fine Arts
Once a year there is a district Fine Arts Festival to showcase and evaluate their pieces. We will attending the Potomac Youth District in April 2026.
From Districts to Nationals:
Those receiving a district rating of “Superior with Invitation” in their category at districts are invited to compete on a national level at the National Fine Arts Festival, which coincides with the National Youth Conference. This is held in July 2026.
The Fine Arts Season begins each September.
Cost:
- Registration: $45/person (includes the first category the student is in)
- Extra Categories: $20/person/category
- (example: student is in 3 categories. The first is included in the $45 registration fee. The 2 additional categories will cost $20 each totaling $40. The total cost for Fine Arts participation would be $95)
- The Cost for attending the Regional Fine Arts Festival in April 2026: TBD
Schedule:
- Practices: Sundays 12-5pm, every other week for students in group categories
- District FAF: Potomac Youth District’s Fine Arts Festival is April 24-25, 2026 (Location: Christ Chapel, 13909 Smoketown Rd, Woodbridge, VA 22192)
