Pastor William Galus & wife Mary
Senior Pastor
Bill Galus has been Walnut Grove's Senior Pastor since September 2001. He came to Walnut Grove in 1995 and has served as assistant Pastor and Children's Pastor. Pastor Galus served previously at Trinity Assembly of God in Lawrenceville, Pa. as the Lead Pastor for 7 years. Before that, he served as a Missionary Pastor on a short-term assignment to the South Pacific island nation of Samoa. In 1981, he earned his Bachelor's degree in Biblical studies from Central Bible College in Springfield, Missouri. Bill and his wife, Mary, are 3rd generation Pittsburghers and have two grown children: April and Jeremiah. Pastor Galus' primary focus is preaching and teaching the Word of God, mentoring staff, and giving leadership to the various ministries of Walnut Grove. He loves World Missions, (having been on 14 mission trips thus far), and loves to see people find Christ, be set free, and discipled into a deeper relationship with the Father. He also loves his Pittsburgh Steelers.
